Hello, welcome to this interactive pen publishing article. In this article I will show you how to set up email signatures in Microsoft Outlook Web App, the browser version and the Outlook desktop client. Let's get started.

So I'm already logged into Microsoft, what Microsoft calls Outlook WebApplication. So it basically accesses your email through the browser. If any of you see this article, you know this.

You can log into portal.office.com to get to the screen and then I just clicked on Outlook.

As soon as I get into Outlook, the first thing you need to do is find this gear in the top right, that's the settings. Click on it. Then you will see all Outlook settings at the very bottom.

You click on it and next make sure you are here under the email settings and then compose and reply and set your email signature here. I've already guessed one. So I'll just put it here.

You have the option to include this signature when composing a new email message, and you can also include the signature when your messages are forwarded or replied to. So I'll turn it on here for both of them. Now one thing to note, and I'll show you how to set up an email signature on the desktop client in a second, but one thing to note is that anything you set up in the browser-based Outlook won't broadcast becomes your desktop version of Outlook and vice versa.

So if you create one in the Outlook Web App, you will need to create the same in the desktop version as well. So now I'm just going to save here and it's saved, I'm going to close. Now I want to click on new message and as you can see my signature is there.

I'll link that; ok and again I can bold this and then the other thing you might want to do or that it is a little different in the desktop version that you can create multiple signatures and it can be one for new messages and one could be for replies and forwards. If I wanted I could just create a new one. I'll save up here, and I'll create and answer.

So I hit OK and I can just have something completely different here. Maybe I'll just post with my name and then I can set that as my reply. Every time I reply to email, this is used.

Every time I create new messages it gets used and just hit OK when you're done. The other thing to keep in mind is that you can use different fonts etc here and I will click OK and this is how you set email signatures for the Outlook web app and Outlook desktop client.
