If you're still using Windows 7, you've seen a notice that it's nearing the end of its lifespan because it won't receive any security updates after January 14, 2020. So now is a good time to think about upgrading to Windows 10 if you haven't already that Microsoft offered a free upgrade to Windows 10, but that offer ended back in 2016 and Microsoft will now tell you that you have one Need to buy license if you want Windows 10, but there is still a way to upgrade Windows 10 for free using a tool on Microsoft's website and in This Video I'll Show You How To This Is Dave Tech Rescue, where I solve your computer, internet, and technology problems. If you have a question you'd like to ask, drop it in the comments below and I'll do my best to answer it, and remember to subscribe for it Don't Miss My Next Video Could I Answer Your Question Today's Question Can I Still Look Good When Windows 10 Is Free? The answer is yes, there is still anupg rade available that gives you Windows 10 for free, if you have Windows 7 8 or 8.1 on your computer this tool will update it to Windows 10 and most importantly activate it so you don't have any problems with your license.
I'm going to show you how to get the upgrade tool from Microsoft's website and how to use it, it should take a couple of hours, maybe a little longer if you have a slow internet connection before you start now good time to back up your files and make sure you watch all of the article before doing anything so that you understand what you are going to do if something goes wrong, you should be able to get your computer back to its normal state too where he is now but if something goes wrong I take no responsibility if you are not sure what you are going to do take your computer to an expert instead so let's get started you have to close all programs, which are running on your computer and then open a web browser and go to that website I included a link to the website in the description for that sarticle, on this page you are looking for According to which it says Create Windows 10 Installation Media Now, it says you need a license for Windows 10 first. I'm recording this in October 2019 and I've found that as long as you have a license for Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1, you can easily activate it in Windows 10, but if you need to record your license for auditing purposes, you should check this at Microsoft now.
You need to click on the download tool now and when the tool has downloaded click on it to run you need to wait a moment and then accept ac the terms then there is another wait and you get to this screen, make sure you do Update this PC now and click Next Now you will have to wait while Windows 10 downloads You also don't need to keep this website open for a long time so you can close your web browser. You may receive a different license agreement so you can click Accept. We will now check for updates that may be included in the Windows 10 upgrade.
So wait for the next one that takes you to this screen confirming that we are installing Windows 10 and are now keeping your personal files and apps, even though it does its best to keep your apps, there may be some programs that just aren't on Windows 10 function. So be prepared for one or the other program that does not work after the upgrade, sometimes after a long wait you come to a screen with a blue background like this one and Windows 10 is now installed Take a look at the data protection options I recommend that you turn them off because you know you need them because you can turn them back on later anyway then click on accept and there we go to the Windows 10 desktop, you may get some notifications like these telling you that drivers are not working on Windows 10. You can just opt out of them for now and the chances are your computer will work fine on Nyway and Windows 10 may need to install updated versions of all major drivers.
I'm just going to close this welcome message and the last thing we want to do now is check that Windows 10 has been activated and right click this PC then click Properties. You should see the system properties screen and at the bottom there will be Gowindows enabled as I said earlier to go back to Windows 7 as Windows 10 will shortly stop working. So if you want to get back to Windows 7, I'll show you how to do that now, click Start and go to Settings go down to Update and Security and then click Recovery on the left.
Hand side, and you will see that you can go back to Windows 7 and click Get Started to get you back and you will have another long wait while this happens nupgrade to Windows 10 for free I know this should work in October 2019 but if you see this in the future please let me know in the comments section if it worked for you, if it helped please give it a thumbs up and if you want to see more tutorials like this one from me click on my face below and hit the red subscribe button and while you're here please check out one of my other articles, thanks for watching and we'll see you next time

Welcome to the Webit tutorials, in this article we are going to show you how to download a Windows 10 ISO file and create a bootable flash drive, in our previous article on upgrading to Windows 10 from 7 or 8 we have this method leave. So let's see go to this download page first. The link is given in the description.
Then click on 'Download Tool Now' and save the file. After the download is complete, open the file. When the setup is done, click 'Accept'.
We have two options here. To see the first option which is 'Update this PC now' please watch our previous article. Choose the second option and then click on 'Next'.
Here you can select the language, edition and architecture. Or you can just select 'Use the recommended options for this PC' and then click 'Next'. Now we are presented with two options.
The first option, 'USB Flash Drive' was also covered in our previous article. Let's select the second option which says 'ISO file' and click on 'Next'. Then choose where you want to download the ISO file and click Save.
Take some time so we can speed up the process. When the download completes, we will be given the option to 'Burn ISO file to DVD'. You will need a blank DVD for this.
We're using a flash drive instead, so hit 'Finish'. There are some advantages to downloading the ISO file over other methods. The first benefit is that you can 'mount' the ISO file and it just acts as if you had a physical DVD inserted into your system, setting up and updating your Windows directly from the mounted ISO file.
You can also copy the ISO file to another PC and do the same thing. The second benefit is that you can burn the ISO file to a DVD or as many DVDs as you like at any time. The third benefit is that you can use the ISO file to install Windows 10 in a virtual machine.
If you want to see how to install Windows 10 in a virtual machine, you can check out our other article on the same description, finally the fourth benefit that we are about to show you is creatine ga bootable flash drive, that's what we're going to do go to 'www.rufus.ie' and download the portable version of the software.
You will also find the link in the description. With these two files we are now ready to create a bootable flash drive. Now just run the portable software.
Click 'No' to refuse to update the software. We didn't have a flash drive attached here, so we're adding one. The software recognized the flash drive.
We are using an ISO file, leave this option as is. Then click on 'Select'. Then select the Windows ISO file and click 'Open'.
Leave everything else at default and hit the 'Start' button. Drive will be destroyed '. Make sure you don't need any files from your flash drive and back up the files before proceeding.
Then click OK'. Now it has started copying the ISO file and it will create a bootable flash drive for a few minutes, when it says 'READY' click 'CLOSE'. Now you can insert the flash drive into the PC that you want to update and run the setup.
You can also reinstall Windows 10 using the flash drive. If you want to see what happens after setup, please watch our previous article. Thank you for watching the article.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please let us know in the comments section.

There are a few reasons why you might want to reinstall Windows 10. You might want to sell your computer, or you might just have a ton of files on your computer making a mess and you just want to clean it all up. Luckily with Windows 10, Microsoft has made it nice and easy to reset Windows back to its original state.
I'll cover the two main ways you can do this. The easiest and easiest method of reinstalling Windows was introduced in Windows 8 and up to Windows 10. What you need to do is go to the 'Settings' app, then go to 'Update & Security' and then from the sidebar Go to 'Recovery' and then click the 'Get Started' button under 'Reset this PC' You just need to select a couple of options.
If you want to keep all of your files where they are, you can select the option there, or if you want to get rid of everything click the 'Remove All' button. important documents that you want to keep make sure they ive been backed up to a usb stick or cloud storage just to make sure they are safe. Here you are given a few options like secure erase or quick erase.
You should use the second option when you want to get rid of the computer because it is more difficult for users to use recovery tools to get their data back. Once you do, the computer will restart and it will take about an hour to completely resolve everything. Once that's done, you can run Windows setup.
Once you've signed in and created your account, you'll be back on the desktop. This is the easiest way to go since you will see the start menu and everything has been reset. But there is another way to do this.
This is my preferred method. This means that you need a USB drive of at least 8 GB and you want to download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool. This method will use a USB drive to install Windows.
In fact, we can make sure that nothing from the previous Windows installation is through the um. So you should download the Media Creation Tool and now as you go through these menu options click on 'Create Installation Media' and then also make sure you have a USB drive connected to the computer, this is where you should choose your settings like language and architecture If you are not sure what architecture you actually have, you can go to Windows Explorer, click on 'This PC', right click and go to 'Properties'. and then you can see the system type under the system information.
As you can see I'm a 64-bit operating system, that's the option I'm going to choose there and everything else looks fine. I'll choose the option to just write this directly to the USB drive and of course you'll want to make sure nothing is on that drive as this process will erase the USB drive. I will select my USB drive there and double check that nothing says anything on it and then I can click Next and then Windows 10 will download and I put it on the USB stick.
One thing I like to do is write down the product key somewhere so that I can use this VisualBasic script and I just save it to my desktop and run it out of text box with the product key and I like to do this just in case Windows does not remember the product key. But it should because Windows 10 usually automatically activates Windows with the hardware and automatically detects your computer. But I like you do this just to be sure.
When you run the script the product key will appear on the screen and you can snap a picture of it or write it down somewhere just in case you need it. So now is the time to install Windows. Connect the USB drive to the computer on which you want to reinstall Windows.
I would also recommend removing any unnecessary USB drives or additional hard drives at this point. Turn it on and press the start menu button. Not sure what the boot menu key is, google will help you out quickly but usually it's F12 or something like that.
Then you can select the USB drive as the boot device, this will start the Windows installation wizard. As you can see now, I'm into Windows setup and just going to go click Next and Install Now. As you can see, the setup begins.
Now you will be asked for your product key here, but Windows should be activated automatically anyway so you can just click on 'I don't have a product key' and just reinstall Windows. When asked which version of Windows you are using, you can use the System Infoscreen that you looked at earlier for Architecture to check your version of Windows. Now all you have to do is accept the license agreement and then you want to select 'Custom' so that we can manage partitions.
Now you can see that there are a lot of different partitions here, and you should write down the drive numbers and labels in case you have a secondary drive - you don't want to delete the partition for that because otherwise, y you'll just be your data to lose. Drive 0 is my on-screen operating system drive, so I'll delete any partitions that were there so that I could have a new set of Windows partitions created by the installer. Check your partitions and drives because if you accidentally delete everything, it is not my fault.
As you can see, Windows starts the installation process now, installing from a USB drive usually doesn't take that long - it should take around 20 minutes. Usually it tends to be faster, it really depends on how fast your computer is. As you can see, it will now restart and you can just continue through Windows setup as in the article earlier.
As you can see right now, this is the desktop, and as you can see, it's pretty small so you may need to check driver settings and the like. However, if you want to check your Windows activation you can go to the Settings app and it will show at the bottom of the screen if you need to enter something in your ke y product, but otherwise it was that for this article, thanks for watching and us see you next.
