It sounds crazy, but it does happen - and these are the best examples ever. My name is Danny Burke and these are the top 10 scary transmission disruptions. Right before we get into that, I'd like to let you know through our brand new channel - BeyondThe Screen - it's a channel about everything TV and Hollywood related, presented by one of our new presenters, Jocelyn.
She is great, the channel is great - I guarantee you there is something for everyone. It would mean the world to us if you watch and subscribe. Right after this article - there is a link somewhere on the screen and in the description box at the bottom! Starting at number 10, we have The Wyoming Incident.
According to Internet legend, this was a broadcast hack that happened in 2008, affecting a number of communities in the city of Niobrara, Wyoming, and disrupting their regular news broadcast. CLIP FROM START. For the next 6 minutes, viewers got text messages and weird ones Images shown with audio snippets A message appeared for 15 seconds, stating that it was a SPECIAL PRESENTATION.
The text messages said things like -You will see such beautiful things- -You are sick, we just want to fix them- and -What is hiding in your head? - ... this question was later answered with the terrifying news - we have already seen it - ... what was even stranger was that people reported a physical reaction to the footage.
These included vomiting, hallucinations, and headaches. Others said that the frequencies played made the viewers' eyeballs vibrate and create visual hallucinations. So glad we didn't show the entire clip ...
Next, in 9th place, we have Max Headroom. This is perhaps the most famous on the list. On the evening of November 22, 1987, many people were enjoying an episode of DoctorWho on Chicago's WTTW Channel 11.
For those who are fans out there - the episode was Horror of Fang Rock. However, the transmission was interrupted by a signal. Suddenly the audience saw an unknown person with a Max Headroom mask and sunglasses.
Max Headroom was a TV character from a show in the mid-1980s. The fraudster hijacked the show for 90 seconds, in which he gossiped about Coca Cola, the TV series Clutch Cargo and WGN anchor Chuck Swirsky. To be honest, even with subtitles, it's hard to understand what is being said.

The disembodied voice spoke for 6 minutes - the main message was A warning to all humans to lay down our weapons of war and to end a new Age of Aquarius.

It's one of those channels that you wouldn't expect to see a lot of, uh - religious talk, shall we say, but that's exactly what you would have seen if you had tuned in on September 6, 1987. Somebody interrupted the show that night and showed a quote from the Bible.
I wonder how that was received by the Playboy viewers Exodus and Matthew and read - Thus says the Lord, your G od. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Penance for the Kingdom of Heaven is Near - ... the white text and black background appeared during a Playboy movie called 'Three Daughters,' and a number of viewers called to ask what happened.

Next we have at number 6 The Nuke at home, only to see a channel showing a beautiful landscape live, relaxing music plays - and then you see this.CLIP.Yes, that looked a lot like an atomic bomb - and so did the people in Czechoslovakia when it appeared on Panorama TV in June 2007.

When the camera appeared to show an exploding atom bomb during the morning broadcast, all hell broke loose. Some people who lived in the area started trying to leave before the radiation spread - others contacted the government and asked what to do.

In fifth place we have The Old Couple 2007. This was released during the regular broadcast of ABC daughter WJLA Image on the screen. To this day, nobody knows exactly what this picture is about.
There are clearly two faces, one is smiling and one of them looks concerned - the faces look like you were computer generated - to me they look like something out of a 90s article game. This creepy image stayed on the screen with no sound for a few seconds before disappearing from the screen. Many people said there was a dar k means to all of this - that this was no ordinary interruption.
The cable company in charge of the broadcast said there was a program mix-up due to an advertisement for the Oprah Winfrey show. That seemed to satisfy most people, but things took a turn when articles of the event were all removed from YouTube due to restricted access ... to this day I couldn't find any clips on YouTube - only the picture and the questions survived That goes with it ...
Coming to # 4 now. We've got War of The Worlds. Have you seen the movie War of The Worlds starring Tom Cruise? I liked this movie - but did you know where this title came from? 1938 was created by future film legend Orson Welles a radio play based on HG Wells' novel - The War of the Worlds - ...

To get to number 2, now have we Mayday. On January 3, 2007, Channel 7 in Australia aired a Canadian documentary called Mayday, which deals with incidents of air disasters. Things got weird.
The images continued as usual, but the sound repeated a sentence on a loop. A brief thought that YouTube uploaded this article of the event. Many people think the voice is that of a man from the deep south of America who said the sentence: Jesus Christ, help us all, Lord- ... see what you think ...
CLIP. It went on for an amazing 6 minutes before everything went back to normal. Lots of people wanted answers, but Channel 7 was very evasive.
They denied there was an intrusion, but also denied what was actually said. They claimed the voice said -Jesus Christ, one of the Nazarenes- ... the fact that a lot of people disagree only fueled the fire that something very strange happened that day ...
And finally, at number 1, we have Coast to Coast AM. That's the name of this Art Bell talk show. He was used to weird calls on the show, but on September 12, 1997, things got even stranger.
That night, Art received a call from a guy who claimed to be an employee of the mysterious Area 51 base - where conspiracy theorists say the U.S. Air Force contained and investigated aliens and their crashed starships.
The caller sounded scared, claiming that -you would get him, and that he didn't have much time to share what he knew about Area 51 with the world. He spoke about extradimensional beings who are not what they appear to be - that they have infiltrated the U.S. military and are taking power.
CLIP. The caller began to sound more erratic and panicked began talking about how governments are trying to reduce the human population to manageable numbers so that it can be more easily controlled. Shortly afterwards, the line was dead when the power went out in the station.
When they got the backup generators working, the caller was gone. Conspiracy theorists say it was more than a coincidence that the caller was cut off and never heard from him again just as he began to spill the beans on secret government activities.
