Miracast keeps disconnecting - how to decide

Why is miracast disconnecting?

Miracast uses a Wi-Fi direct link for the connection and does not use the network router. Theoretically you could turn the router off and the Miracast should work.

Hi everyone and welcome to my YouTube channel and today in this article we are going to see what to do when our phone keeps getting disconnected from WiFi. First we restart the router. If you have not restarted the router for a long time, turn off the router.

Wait about 10 seconds and then turn it on again. Now check if your phone is permanently connected to the WiFi. The other thing we're going to do is if you're using some sort of VPN connection in your Android device, either disable the VPN connection or uninstall the VPN app and see if the phone is now connected to the Can or cannot establish WiFi.

After that we go to the settings and here we go to the connections. We will go to the wifi. Then here we tap those three-dotted icons - Advanced and when you see there is an option here to Wi-Fi Power Saving Mode.

If it's enabled, disable it. Now tap on this arrow here. Go to Wi-Fi Control History and tap this option to enable Wi-Fi automatically.

Make sure that Turn on Wi-Fi automatically is selected and that the Wi-Fi power setting mode is also turned off. After that, let's go back and you will see that there is another application here, Smart Switch. I select this application here and when you see the app is allowed to control Wi-Fi, it is enabled.

So I need to make sure this option is disabled. After that, check whether your phone can permanently connect to the WiFi. If you have security applications such as McAfee or Norton AntiVirus installed, turn them off and see if you can connect to Wi-Fi properly.

The last option for you now is to restart your Android device in Safe Mode and see if the phone can connect to the Wi-Fi continuously and if the phone can connect it means that certain applications on your Android device are causing the problem. So let's see how to restart Android device in Safe Mode. Now it may vary depending on the model of Android device.

I'm using Note 8. So if I need to restart my Note 8 in Safe Mode, I'll restart my Note 8 first, press the power button. Then I choose restart and then restart.

Now the Note 8 will restart and as soon as this noted 8 is restarted and when I see the Samsung logo I have to press the volume down button. I press the volume down button until I see safe mode. Now I release the button and when I look down here my Android device has started in Safe Mode.

Now check if you can connect to WiFi in Safe Mode and wait a few minutes to see if the WiFi is now connected for a few minutes. If the WiFi is able to connect in Safe Mode for some time, it means that applications on your Android device are causing the problem. Unfortunately, now you have no way of knowing which application is causing the problem.

The only option for you is to uninstall the entire application and then reinstall one at a time to see which app is causing the problem. Hopefully this should fix the problem. Thank you for watching this article.

Translator: Marta Palacio Reviewer: Denise RQI left the internet for a full year. I was 26 years old, it was May 1st, 2012 and I pulled the plug. There were many reasons, but the main reason was probably that I was 26 years old, I understood life and was really overwhelmed.

It was a little crisis. I just felt like everything was too much and I couldn't win. The internet came on more and more, there are more emails.

You can't win against your email inbox because the moment you hit 'Archive' on the very last one, you will receive a new email. You can't win on Twitter because there is so much Justin Bieber to talk about. I felt it in a really overwhelming, very personal way, that the internet is defeating and suppressing me.

All my livelihood is the internet. Since then, I've probably been using the Internet for the majority of my waking hours. As a teenager, I was a web designer.

I started writing about tech nology as a journalist when I was around 20. That's all I ever really knew I don't know what life is like without the Internet, without being connected all the time, without an e-mail inbox. I remember a time before Twitter, but it's really blurry.

I also had a desire to get some things done. I wanted to do some personal studies, read something, I had some writing projects that I'm putting off. I thought if I stopped using the internet all my time I would have unlimited free time to accomplish the things I want to accomplish.

So I gave up on the internet. The question I asked beyond my personal goals was: How does the internet use me and how do I use it? The Internet? When do my decisions and my goals determine my behavior on the Internet, and when do the apps, the people, the processes and what the Internet is like, the medium itself, how does that determine my behavior and how does that change? Mid-90s Years Nicholas Negroponte, the founder of Wire d Magazine and the MIT Media Lab - wrote - the web was very early at this point - 'Web surfing is a fad, we can't keep up with this. That's not really how life is made.

Pretty soon there will be such a thing as' bots, they go online for you. You will find all the information. And you can become a productive adult again.

Maybe the kids have time to surf the internet, but we won't be. We can't do that, we are productive members of society. 'He was completely wrong.

The internet is for surfing, that's what we do when we are But in some ways he was right, apart from a select few people - and I know I'm not included here - when I use the internet, other than a little research, I'm usually not real productive. At least that's how I felt. I didn't get to things - like I said I wanted to write, read - I didn't get these things when I clicked links when I tweeted when I was on Reddit when I was recording a huge, amazing, incredible Sea of information.

I was mostly distracted from it instead of having it built. I didn't feel productive. I wish there were these bots to just use the internet meso I didn't have to use it I contrast the way I use the internet with the way my parents use the internet I think there is a difference where they can use it more as a utility; it is a very useful, incredible invention for them.

They go on Amazon, they buy something and they check their email and they send me an email asking why I haven't emailed them recently. My mom is on Twitter now, my dad has Instagram. but really, it's a very small fraction of their lives.

Then they do the things that need to be done again. For me, maybe because I grew up with it, or because I'm a nerd, or because I have a low level of self-control, my life has been the internet, and other things may have happened on the fringes. I looked at my cell phone and then I looked up and there is still a person there - that's good.

I would look back on my phone and I am back in my world, where I belong, where I understand, what I know and where I am capable, felt this amazing sense of freedom. I stopped writing; In addition to the internet, I didn't get any emails. People didn't check my email for me.

I had no connection to the internet. I was so free, I was so happy. I was full of life.

Everything smelled better, I had one in my crotch, it was just so good ...

The feeling I had was that of a fifteen year old: 'You can't tell me what to do, internet. My life is mine now, I can make the decisions. This email that comes in is not going to disrupt my plans for today. 'It was so wonderful.

I've experienced some new sensations that I've never really had, or not in a long time. One of them was boredom. Incredible, intense boredom.

I don't know if you've ever been bored. It was a new thing for me. I will describe the feeling.

You're not doing anything right now, you have nothing to do, and there is nothing at arm's length that can fix it. When you have the internet, the moment you think about getting bored, you can grab your phone, swipe to unlock it and now you have a whole world of information and entertainment right in front of your eyes. Maybe that's not what you want right now, but you're not bored.

Trust me because I was bored and it was something completely different. It's something that creative people have been talking about for a long time. It is this time that some people call meditation.

You get loneliness, you have a space to think and be creative. I also found that it was a time to decide what I wanted to do instead of going down the path of least resistance. So I also had very different interactions with people.

This is something that has been approached by so many people, so much about bringing us together with people, or are we just hiding in our computers and pretending to be friends? What I found is that without the internet, I could be with someone much more intensely and personally. 'That was intense,' 'It was intense hanging out with you.' It's scary.

error code 0x80073d0b

Even on the phone, “I was scared.” Maybe that wasn't a compliment. It wasn't just that I didn't have a phone to distract me at the moment - I also didn't have my thought cycles: 'My emails are piling up somewhere at?' 'Did I miss something on Twitter?' 'Did I forget to check in here on Foursquare?' That didn't distract me.

So I could be much more in the moment. My sister told me that I was ... more emotionally available than she had really known me all her life.

I had a conversation with a friend I've known for years that was - we've gotten to a deeper level than we've ever gotten to. I appreciate that so much. Then there was a downside to both things.

Boredom is great when you're doing something good with it, but it's not great when you're just playing article games. I started with that. I swear I was ...

Sorry, I'm 20 years old, stupid, and I've played so many article games this year. I didn't really know it at first, I didn't play a lot of article games before leaving the internet. It became something that was really easy, it was only an arm's length away.

I took the controller and got rid of that sometimes horrible feeling of boredom. I wasted so much time, I can't even tell you. The other thing that happened to people is while I was with them, it really was great, personal and intense.

I stopped hanging out with people so much. I was separated from my social circle. It's very difficult to keep in touch with people outside of the state - my family is all over the country - but even people in my city.

I missed the email, I missed the Facebook invite, I forgot this movie is out this weekend. You miss a few of these and then you miss more and more people calling on the phone what they hate. They hate it when I call them.

They prefer SMS - especially to make plans - but I had to stick to my principles. I called them they didn't want to hang out or I was late. This loneliness was building.

I became very withdrawn. Sometimes I didn't want to hang out with people for a week. I was no longer in sync with my social environment.

I wasn't into the jokes, I didn't know the language, I hadn't seen the same films. That was really tough. But I came back on the internet.

It was one of the most intense experiences ever because it was so overwhelming. I think we forget how adept we are with the internet and how much brain it takes to use it. I would train myself train this year of looking at one idea at a time or one article game at a time, I read a little books, I was really interested; to put that one big idea in a big book, and how? elegant, that was speaking to one person at a time.

Suddenly I had ten browser tabs, 20 people told me which links to go to because I missed them the year I was away Ads for my phone, laptop, tablet. It was so much. The first day I was back I literally started to panic.

During that week I was very stressed. About a week later, after I got back on the internet, I was at my cafe through email. I had about 20,000 unread emails when I came back.

lumia 950 issues

I forgot to put an autoresponder on my email. (Laughter) A tip if you want to get off the internet. My sister came in, sister, and she wanted to talk about her day.

I was kind of listening, but I was also thinking about what was going on in my inbox. I started opening my laptop a little more and nodded at what she was saying. She said, 'Well, the wall is back.' She's had to deal with this all her life: I'm connected to this computer, she wants to talk to me and I'm not really 100% available; maybe 10%, maybe even 90%, but I'm not 100% available.

I closed the laptop, I didn't want to be that person anymore. But at least I missed that moment. When I got back on the internet-- Maybe this is what you should know about me e: I was writing for a technology publication called 'The Verge'.

I helped start them. It started six months before I left the internet. Which is probably a little ironic.

Trying to get back to work, I wrote about my experience for publication. I could have a job publishing articles for the internet without having the internet. I gave them a USB stick and they put up my stories.

But I wanted to make some money back and I did a really good job. I started making a story in my first month that I returned to Google Glass. So I went from no internet to literally having the internet on my face for a week finally regaining some productivity, learning to deal with all these multi-pronged attacks on the internet.

I had a skype call with my brother and sister-in-law. I hadn't seen them visually, and I hadn't seen them children probably in six months. I didn't really want to do it.

I don't know what it's all about, but somehow the thing that you're not into it. It's just a random link on the internet that keeps me from getting in touch with someone who is so important to me. But I did; I put my project down and skyped with them.

My niece played 'Twinkle, twinkle, little star' on the violin for me, she's learning to play the violin. It was a very slow rendition, but it was beautiful. She and my nephew both wrote their own songs that they had written on pieces of paper in chalk and held them in front of the camera.

They sang it for me. Their song was called 'Horse Ride', his song was called 'Helicopter Stop', a precious thing. It's not just that I almost missed something back then, I missed my entire year off without the internet.

Kindred is a very valuable, great thing, I don't want to take that for granted anymore. I was lucky when I got back on the internet. I was trying to figure out what to do next and the idea popped into my head - what I wish I had thought of earlier, but it finally came to me - that I had it.

I spent a whole year trying to figure it out focus on myself and try to fix and improve myself, become a better me, educated, do something like that for someone else at some point in the next year, be a little less selfish. Besides, it didn't work. I haven't improved my productivity, I haven't read or written everything I wanted to do.

So I had to do something else. I decided to do something for people or to take care of people. My brother was just serving in the Air Force, so I currently live in Colorado with my sister-in-law helping out with the kids, and it's so great because during that time without the internet, I realized that leaving the internet wouldn't solve my problems becomes.

Some people would often quote me when I came back and saw my mistakes and struggles, “Wherever you go, there you are.” I could change my circumstances, but I'm still that guy who's not very productive. But I am also a guy who really loves people, I love my nieces and nephews.

That's actually another brother. ”I have two brothers, nieces and nephews; very complicated. I can spend time with these children and it's such a worthwhile use of my time.

I am finally able to dictate what I find important to the internet. It's cool to have that power over it, again I feel that freedom that I really felt when I left the internet. “You're not my boss.” Yes, I suck on productivity and get easily distracted.

But it's not the internet's fault responsible for my life. And I've decided that I want to hang out with these kids for a while while their dad is away. And that's so rewarding.

My nephew has some Star Wars toys and he has no idea what Star Wars it is. So he describes the function of a lightsaber to me. He says, 'The lightsaber shoots at the competition, and the competition is fired.' So many mistakes in that sentence.

The lightsaber is not a weapon. I tweeted it, of course. Somebody tweeted out to me, a friend of mine, he's an Orthodox Jew, and I've talked to him a lot while not on the internet.

He knows how to find that balance. He's a technology analyst, but he honors the Sabbath and spends this day with his family. He said, 'If you were still 100% online, you would have missed this experience, and if you did If you were still 100% offline, we would have missed it. 'Yes I have.

I've found a balance. I did something in real life, I told the internet about it. I am very happy because I just want to make sure we are wondering what is our priority and that we do and that the internet will not let us tell us otherwise, thanks. (Applause)
