- Hey guys, Sam here from KeyCommerce.com.
This article shows you how to set up your Bing ads by importing them from Google Ads. It's a great trick, you need to have your Google Ads set up already, but by the time I'm going to show you in this article, you'll be able to set up your Bing Ads in just five minutes, if you haven't set up Google Ads I leave some links in the description for setting up your search campaigns, branding campaigns and shopping campaigns. Once you've set them up in Google, you can export, import, and import them into Bing Ads.
When we get to my computer you exactly how to set this up, there we go. Ok guys, we're now in the Bing Ads account. Let's now import our campaigns from Google Ads, import campaigns quickly, import from Google Ads , the wizard is opened.
Step by step super easy. We will hit sign in to google. It will show up.
We need to sign in so make sure you follow this process yourself. Okay. Now it logs in.
Super. It has now given us a list of all the stores that we have connected. You may only have one store so just select your store and hit 'Next'.
Now we ask ourselves whether we want to import all existing and new campaigns or only certain campaigns? We're going to choose the second because we just want to choose which campaigns we want to see. Now all campaigns are shown to us. Now I only pick the campaigns that win, that really, really do well, they're doing well, so I just want to override them over Bing ads.
You might not want all of these campaigns, just pick the ones that actually work, that go really well. Then select Next, now we will be asked about the settings, and this is mainly the case if you are importing several times. So if you're importing it on a schedule, which you might want to do, it's a little more advanced.
Then you can update the bids and bid strategies, change them to google ads, then they change to bing ads too, but we just want to import them once and then run them separately. So just hit next, ok guys it asks us now about the scheduled imports, now we don't want to schedule the imports for this one, I recommend you import them for the first time and then manage them independently from google Show. This is because the people using Bing Ads and your campaigns that perform on Being Ads will potentially perform differently than Google Ads.
So I want to optimize differently. I don't want to update it and do it the same as Google ads because the traffic is different. And so I go to when, I change it to now, and then it is only imported once now, click 'Import'.
It won't do magic. Great guys. Well, congratulations, we've successfully imported your campaigns for you to review and maybe there are some problems here.
It will tell you what they are and if you need to review it could only be because the guidelines for ads are a little different from the google ads that can happen, so all you have to do is review them, fix bugs and then fix it yourself. Then click Show Important Campaigns. Ok guys, now we have the campaigns here.
We can see them here in our account. So you can import your campaigns from Google Ads in less than five minutes. You must have already set up these campaigns for Google Ads.
Check out my other articles. I could walk you through branding campaigns, shopping campaigns, and search campaigns and they work fine. You can then import them into Bing ads like I showed you in this article and then you can start Bing ads for your ecommerce store too.
Ok guys, so set them up your Bing ad s from Google in less than five minutes. Super quick, super easy, but like I said, you need to have these campaigns set up in Google beforehand. If you haven't set them up, check the description Leave a few links to some tutorials I've made on how to set up these campaigns yourself.

Can you advertise on Bing?
Bing Ads reach 63 million searchers that aren't reached with Google AdWords. The point here is that despite Ads reaching more people and having higher search volumes, Bing allows you to reach a even wider audience — a specific demographic of customers — and produce even better results than simply AdWords alone.
People often laugh at Microsoft Bing and Bing Ads because they think Bing is a waste of time and it is all about Google.
Well, to some extent, you are probably right, but ultimately, Bing can be a great resource to boost your Google search traffic to bring you more volume and more convergence for your business. Learning and using Bing is still important. However, there have been a number of people who have complained to Bing that the traffic is of poor quality or poor quality than Google's.
That can sometimes be the case, but there are a couple of big reasons for that, I'm going to show you two things you need to do on your Bing account to make sure your ads are showing in the right places that are getting the right kind of search traffic, too . I'll jump into Bing and show you guys how to split my screen right away. Hi Guys.
Now what I'm going to show you is how to make sure you're getting the best quality traffic with Bing Ads. Well, as you know, Bing Ads is a good source of additional traffic, but there are issues with the default settings when generating traffic to Bing Ads and you have actually signed up for some networks that are not very good for your convergence . Let me explain to you how to find out if you are activated and what to do about it if you have already campaigned.
The first thing you need to do is look at what are known as the Web Publisher Reports. To do that, I'll move on to reports. Now I'm in reports.
I look at the menu on the left, go to the website url or the web publisher reports as they used to be known. This is where you can generate a report that will show you where your ads have appeared. You want to think to yourself, 'If I ran a search campaign, will my ads only appear on Bing and Yahoo?' It doesn't, your ads may appear on a number of search engines, which is the default Bing Ads opt-in.
What I am going to do is make the report forever just so you can see exactly what I mean. I click Run instead of Download because I just want to show you guys in Bing Ads. I pressed on running.
This report is being created. You will be able to see it shortly. Here we have it.
Now all of a sudden at the very top you can see that you only have Bing and Yahoo search properties. Great, fantastic, this is exactly what you want your campaigns to run on. If you search now you will see some of the search engines here; search.com, appcrawlr.com, easysearch.org.uk, DuckDuckGo, Gumtree.
There are a number of search engines here on this list that you don't necessarily want to display. In fact, most of them are pretty much spam, not very relevant to direct search. If you expect the same results that you get from Google Ads, this is not what you want.
You don't want to appear in half of these search engines, if not in any of those search engines that you don't want to appear on. Now of course, if you get good results from any of these searches engines, I'm not going to say not to use them. If you want to use them because you are getting results, then by all means use them.
The question is, how can you block certain search engines from showing up on Bing? Let me show you All you have to do is go to the campaign settings. I'm going back to campaigns. Now I'm back in campaigns.
I will select this campaign and go to settings. Once you are in the campaign settings you just have to go straight to the bottom you will see an option called Advanced Campaign Settings. If you haven't changed any advanced settings, it looks like this and you need to open this drop-down menu.
What you will do next is go over what I have already done which is go through exclusions and go to the website. What you can do is put in this list all the urls of all search engines that are not performing for you. You can add them, and when you add those urls for all of those underperforming or spammy search engines as you can see here, Bing will ban them from their campaigns or get good traffic from some of these third party search engines that are part of the Bing network , then you can exclude them here and keep them if you want.
However, if you've found that the entire Bing network isn't what you want, you want to make sure that you just stick with searching on Bing and searching on Yahoo! then there is a way around it as well Sometimes you might want to make sure that - since Bing is also adding a lot of new search engines to this list, you will find that they are adding new search engines then you would never know about it, but since you've signed into your settings, new search engines will added when you add them to your network. That then becomes a big problem. What we're going to do is block all search engines except Bing.
To stop all kinds of new Bing network traffic and focus only on the Bing and Yahoo networks instead of partner traffic, all you have to do is select an ad group. I choose an ad group. Now, in the ad group settings, since you need to do this at the ad group level, scroll down and make sure you select the ad distribution settings.
You will see an option pop up, you can see all different types of options. You can see that the default is likely all search networks. I've already changed this for this particular campaign, but you need to make sure that it only uses Bing and Yahoo traffic to make sure you have Bing.
Owned and operated by AOL and Yahoo Search Only, this ensures you only get Bing and Yahoo searches. With all those horrible websites you have seen with the spammy looking urls you will never sign up for these types of websites again. This is a great thing to do to make sure all of this is prevented.
Finally, there is one more thing you need to look at, and that is the audience ads on Bing. Automatically, much like what Google did when they searched display-select nonsense, where you were added to the display network by default, which obviously resulted in you spending more money while getting poorer quality traffic at the same time. time Bing does something similar too.
We're going back to the campaign settings now, not the ad group settings. We'll go ahead and do that. Now we are in the campaign settings.
If you go all the way down, you will see what are called audience ads. When I click on it, you'll see an audience ad bid adjustment. In fact, I've already gone ahead and reduced this purchase by 100%.
This essentially excluded me from the Bing Display Network or whatever Bing used to serve ads on the internet that aren't necessarily in search, you'll find that if you decrease that 100%, you'll immediately click . 100% the rate is going to go through the roof because you stopped promoting display ads, just search focused, so all that bad targeting, all of the bad search clicks you are going to get, all of the budget you are getting Potential waste could be stopped this way. Some people might think, 'I want to be shown in display ads too, which could be valuable to my business', but 9 out of 10 times you don't want to turn it on.
So that you are no longer placed in these areas, you have to lower the bids by 100% as described here. By choosing this option, you are now on your way to Bing Search. All of the things I've shown you now mean that you are now discontinuing Bing, just as you would advertise search on Google only on Google to advertise on Bing and Yahoo Search.
You may find that your campaigns have seen your volume go down in terms of clicks and impressions, but you won't miss those clicks anyway because they were low quality and you're wasting your budget. This should help you really maximize Bing and make sure it is showing up in the right places. Thank you for watching this article.
